I understand this situation since I'm in a very similar place with my boyfriend. Though I'm fortunate that my parents are letting him stay at our house.
Sadly, I wont be able to treat him to anything...due to my job only being one day a week, and matter of fact...discontinued until further notice.

You really don't need to worry about donating or commissioning! Working a day a week is hard, I have been there! It's the thought that counts and I appreciate the time to comment here <3

I would commission you if I could. If only just to help you two out. But I'm unable right now for similar reasons. Currently, my British girlfriend is on an extended stay with me in the US. But her time here is up soon, and neither one of us can afford to get me over to the UK right now. I spent all my money traveling and living there last year. Needless to say, this comic hit home really hard. My girlfriend is going to start commissions soon to help get me there.

Someone should show that not everyone is a "catfish" that you meet online (that show has tainted any and all online relationships and/or friendships); someone should get a chance to be happy, even if it's only a visit for now.

I commissioned Shoeless once and I promised myself it will be my first and the last Commission... at least until I manage to stop my own financial problems :<
