Tabby, this one is just incredible. Something about how you drew the characters seems so much more animated and dynamic. Is there anything different you did when you drew them?
The movement in this piece is just great, and the characters' poses are what make it so believable and successful. I'm also in love with how you drew Red's face. He looks incredible and over the past few days I've just been coming back to this piece and looking at him. Just love it.
Lastly, great job handling the colors here. I really like how the snow is primarily a warm gray, rather than a cool, it really compliments Red. I'm probably reading way too much into things with my next few sentences, but I want to share my thoughts anyway~ I think the warm gray lends more towards an impression that though Red's in a tough situation, he has a handle on it, cuz he's awesome. I'm not sure I'd have that impression if the background was very cold. Also, the limited color palette of the characters increases the feeling of solitude and solemn struggle.
At least if you can't see the blatantly obvious hints they drop, with their links and junk, you go go to their page. It'll say they "Joined today!" And they're apparently mostly from either Pakistan or Germany...
