More Adventure Time fanart...ah I love this show so much!!!! on a personal note...there are a few issues I have with this piece (Finn's face and The Ice King) But overall I think this may be my best piece yet... I am getting a bit better with dynamic pics like this!
This rendition of Adventure Time is simply magnificent, You captured the facial features of all the characters quite well. The Ice king's expression is wonderful, he's supposed to be grumpy and longing for Princess Bubblegum and you've captured that expression amazingly.
Finn, Jake, Marceline, and Bubblegum all have wonderful expressions as well. Marceline is my favorite out of them all, you've managed to capture that sexy vampire that she makes herself out to be. The detail right above her hair is slipped in there nicely, the bats seem like they are coming up from her hair slightly. Finn looks really shy around Bubblegum, Jake is well being Jake ^^ and Lumpy space princess is being her spazzy self. This is simply amazing to say the least.
But I haven't forgotten about all the others characters and details, the details are quite nice on Bemo. Although Bemo is very small you can make out all the buttons and the expression nicely. The other three characters are slipped in there nicely as well.
Gunter is right beside Ice King, Holding up a Fiona and Cake fanfiction. Which is placed in there nicely, almost hidden to the viewer. The background and how it varies with each character is very nice. Although the only thing that I have to point out is the Love emoticon from Bemo is a bit intrusive, it's just seems a little out of place.
When it comes to Movement, my eye really does go right to the Love emoticon quite a lot. But I don't see anything else wrong with it, Out of all the renditions I've seen of Adventure Time, this one really does take my breath away.
Keep up the amazing work, I can't wait to see what you do next.
I really like what you have done with this piece. There aren't too many problems that I see here...
The overall composition is really nice and tight. I have to disagree with the comment about the background being "done up", as this would interfere with the gestalt of the image. BMO's little emote bubble is a little bit too heavy for the composition. I would suggest making it a different color; perhaps you could pull out a less heavy color that is already in the composition or a color that compliment's the color of Jake's pelt.
I think you did a really great job with the character's movement. I think that the composition might be a little to character heavy on the left, however you created a nice balanced composition by placing BMO at the bottom right and using Jake's body as an anchor for the right side of the composition.
I really like the movement of all the characters, however it would make the composition stronger had you given Bubblegum just a tiny bit more movement. It would create a little more visual interest, and tie all of the main characters together. She just looks really stiff!
I am really digging the Ice King's nose...Seeing this really makes me want to do my own f'narts!
Hey, I started my tattoo today. I'm pretty shit at deviant art and have no idea how to use it, but do you have an email address I can send you a picture of the work in progress.
